Legora, the agentic operating system for legal professionals trusted by more than 100,000 lawyers at more than 1,500 leading law firms and in-house legal teams across over 50 markets, today announced the opening of an office in Mexico City – its first in Latin America.

The office establishes Legora's presence in a market where cross-border investment, evolving North American trade rules, and rapid legal AI adoption are converging to reshape how legal work gets done.

The region's appetite for legal AI backs that up. Latin America's legal tech market is on track to nearly triple by 2033. Adoption is still early relative to Europe and the US, but the direction of travel, and the pace of it, is what drew Legora to establish a base there. Legora is already working with several customers in the region.

"Latin America's legal market is at an inflection point," said Max Junestrand, CEO and Co-Founder of Legora. "Nearshoring and broader shifts in regional trade are driving increasingly complex cross-border legal work while AI adoption among legal professionals across the region is accelerating. We want to be on the ground to support that transition.”

The Legora office will open with a local team focused on customer success, legal engineering and go to market. Being on the ground matters to how Legora works with customers: the company builds its platform in close collaboration with the firms and legal teams that use it.

"The firms getting the most out of Legora are the ones we're sitting next to in their offices, in their workflows, hearing directly what's working and what isn't," said Patrick Forquer, CRO of Legora. “We're excited to keep building this together with our customers there, just closer than before."

The expansion into Latin America caps twelve months of rapid growth for Legora. Over the past year, the company raised a $600 million Series D at a $5.6 billion valuation, surpassing $100 million in annual recurring revenue. Its customer base has grown from several hundred law firms and in-house teams to more than 1,500 across over 50 markets, and its footprint has expanded from a handful of hubs to 17 offices spanning Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and now Latin America.
