Set on the bank of the Potomac, House of Sweden is the Swedish Embassy reimagined as an open, modern statement of Scandinavian design. Architects Gert Wingårdh and Tomas Hansen built it to feel unmistakably Swedish — drawing on the northern light of the high latitudes, where dawn and dusk burn scarlet across the sky.
