Venue
Set beneath the bronze lions on Michigan Avenue, the Art Institute of Chicago is a Beaux-Arts landmark built for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. Tucked inside is something rarer still, the trading room from Louis Sullivan's Chicago Stock Exchange, salvaged when the original building was demolished in 1972 and rebuilt piece by piece within the museum's walls. What was once a trading floor is now one of Chicago's most striking event spaces.
