Following the momentum of Legora’s Her Counsel inaugural event in Stockholm, Her Counsel arrived in Madrid for an evening that combined history, community, and forward-looking conversations.
Hosted at the elegant Hotel Santo Mauro, the gathering brought together women shaping the legal sector across Spain. Leaders who are navigating change, and actively driving it. The evening was opened by María Alonso Garcia from Legora, who reflected on the conviction behind Her Counsel: that the future of law is diverse, collaborative, and increasingly female.

At the heart of the evening was a keynote on leading in legal AI from Sara Molina, Partner responsible for LegalTech and Innovation at Pérez-Llorca, and board member of Women in a Legal World (WLW), a non-profit organization promoting female talent, leadership, and equality in the legal sector.

Sara shared her lived perspective on leading legal AI transformation, about breaking moulds, building multidisciplinary teams and encouraging more women into technical and innovation-driven roles. “We need to continue making talent visible, building connections, and creating opportunities for women to lead, reminding younger women that they are not alone.”
From automated case-law analysis to contract drafting, Sara described how AI is already reshaping legal thinking, while stressing that responsible deployment requires governance, traceability, and human oversight.

As conversations continued over drinks and shared experiences, what stood out is that Her Counsel is not an event, but a growing community. One that makes talent visible, strengthens connections, and supports women who are shaping the future of the legal profession, together.
In 2026, Her Counsel will continue its journey, bringing female legal leaders together in Paris, Frankfurt, Berlin, New York, Melbourne, London, and beyond.
