With Legora, Obermayer’s attorneys gain practical AI for everyday legal work, in service of better outcomes for their clients.

Legora, the agentic operating system for legal professionals, today announced that Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP (Obermayer), a full-service law firm headquartered in Philadelphia, has selected Legora as its legal AI platform. With Legora, Obermayer’s attorneys can move faster across research, drafting, and analysis, apply the firm’s collective knowledge to each client matter, and deliver stronger results for the clients they serve.

Obermayer chose Legora following a thorough evaluation of several legal AI platforms. The firm needed a product its attorneys could use in their daily work and a platform that fit its broader AI strategy. Legora delivered both, with a realistic path to adoption across the firm. For Obermayer, success means attorneys who work more efficiently, firm knowledge that is easier to access, and practical tools that help them serve clients better.

“Legora helps our lawyers work more efficiently and focus on what matters most: serving our clients,” said Mathieu Shapiro, Managing Partner at Obermayer. “It streamlines the work, but it doesn’t replace the judgment. It gives our lawyers more time to bring that judgment to bear.”

“Our approach to AI has always been focused on making a meaningful difference in how our attorneys work and serve their clients,” said Jeffrey McShane, Chief Technology Officer and Chair of the AI Committee at Obermayer. “With Legora, we saw both strong technology and a team committed to helping us succeed.”

The Legora team was also a key factor in Obermayer’s decision. Throughout the evaluation, Legora worked on site with the firm’s attorneys and technology leaders, ran live sessions on their own use cases, and stayed invested in Obermayer’s success at every step.

“Adoption doesn’t happen from a distance, so our team worked in-person with Obermayer, learning how their lawyers practice and where Legora could take on the most work,” said Max Junestrand, CEO and Co-Founder of Legora. “That’s how we build every partnership, earning trust matter by matter, until the platform becomes part of how a legal team operates.”
