Legora, the collaborative AI platform for legal professionals, today announced the opening of two new US offices in Houston and Chicago, marking the next phase of its rapid expansion across North America.
Less than a year after launching its first US office in New York in March 2025, Legora is scaling its presence to meet accelerating demand from leading law firms and in-house legal teams nationwide. The company expects to grow to more than 300 employees across its US offices by the end of 2026.
Houston and Chicago - two of the country’s most significant legal and commercial hubs - will serve as strategic centres for Legora’s continued growth in the region, alongside the existing Legora offices in New York and Denver. The expansion follows a series of major customer wins and partnerships, including the recently announced partnership with US-headquartered K&L Gates, alongside global firms such as White & Case, Cleary Gottlieb and Goodwin.
The investment underscores the US as a core growth market for Legora, as legal professionals increasingly look to embed AI into their workflows at scale.
Commenting on the new US office openings, Max Junestrand, CEO and Co-Founder at Legora, said: “In less than a year, we’ve seen extraordinary demand from US customers transitioning from AI pilots to full-scale, enterprise-wide deployment. We’re investing behind that momentum to help them move faster and further.”
“We’re building Legora for the long term in the United States. Opening offices in Houston and Chicago – with more to come across North America later this year – reflects both the momentum we’re seeing on the ground and our ambition to become the partner of choice for legal teams during one of the most significant periods of change in the profession’s history.”
