Legora today launched its latest brand campaign, featuring professional golfer Ludvig Åberg and his caddie Joe Skovron, built around a simple idea: Legora is to lawyers what caddies are to golfers.

Professional golf offers a powerful metaphor for modern legal practice. While technology and data have transformed both fields, the decisive moments still very much rely on human judgment. The best support doesn’t replace judgment, it sharpens it.

That’s exactly the role a great caddie plays. But as Joe Skovron explains, it’s often misunderstood.

“A good caddie isn’t there to tell a player what to do. Well, sometimes we do,” says Skovron, smiling. “But mostly, you’re there to help them see things objectively, one shot at a time. Ultimately, the player hits the shot. Our job is to help them make the best decision possible at any given moment.”

For Åberg, that perspective is fundamental to performing at the highest level.

“Out there, you’re the one swinging the club, but you’re never making the decision alone,” he says. “Having a caddie you trust gives you clarity and confidence. “It’s about knowing you have the right perspective when it matters most.”

It’s a dynamic built on trust, and shared perspective. One that extends far beyond the fairway. At Legora, the same principle applies: combining data and insight with human expertise to support better decisions when it counts.

“Watching golf, people tend to only see the shot,” says Mimmi Grafström, Brand Lead at Legora and a keen golfer. “But the real work often happens before it. The preparation, the analysis, the judgment about risk and opportunity. That’s how great legal work happens too. Our role is to help lawyers see the decision clearly when the stakes are high.”
