Legora, the collaborative AI platform for legal professionals, today announced the opening of its first office in Germany. The Munich location marks a significant step in the company’s international expansion and will serve as a regional hub for clients and talent.

The expansion follows Legora’s recent $550 million Series D funding round. The new capital is being deployed to accelerate hiring, scale infrastructure, and deepen the company’s footprint in strategic markets – including Germany and the broader DACH region.

“Munich was a deliberate choice,” said Max Junestrand, CEO and co-founder of Legora. “It places us close to our customers and gives us access to exceptional talent across both disciplines that define our business – engineering and law. This proximity enables us to better develop and deliver solutions tailored to the needs of the German-speaking market.”

Legora is already widely adopted across the DACH region, with more than 80 law firms and in-house legal teams using the platform. Clients include Bird & Bird, Linklaters, White & Case, Seitz, Erste Bank, RSM Ebner Stolz, Dentons, Schönherr, CMS and GÖRG.

The Munich office will open during the coming months and builds on a year of rapid global growth for the company. Over the past 12 months, Legora has scaled from 40 to more than 400 employees worldwide. Today, its team operates across key international hubs including Stockholm, London, New York, Denver Chicago, Houston, Sydney, and Bengaluru.
