New integration lets mutual customers apply documents stored in Box directly to their work in Legora — bringing legal-grade, agentic AI to the content enterprises already trust.

Legora, the agentic operating system for legal work, today announced a collaboration with Box, the leader in Intelligent Content Management, to integrate the two platforms. The integration enables mutual customers working in Legora to select documents stored in Box, and apply them directly to their work in Legora, without downloading files from one platform and uploading them to another.

The integration meets legal teams where their content already lives. Box serves as the secure, enterprise-grade content layer where organizations store and govern their most important documents. Legora is the agentic operating system where legal work gets done, including legal research, review, drafting, due diligence, and end-to-end execution. Together, the two platforms let mutual customers put the documents they already manage in Box to work under Legora's legal-specific AI, in a single, connected experience.

Through the integration, mutual customers will be able to:

  • Select Box documents directly within Legora: Browse and choose documents stored in Box from inside Legora, and apply them to legal analysis, review, drafting, extraction of insights, and due diligence, with no manual downloading and re-uploading across platforms.

  • Put enterprise content to work with agentic AI: Apply Legora's agentic operating system to the documents customers already manage in Box, keeping Box as the trusted system of record and content layer while Legora executes the legal work.

The integration will be available directly on Legora and on the Box Integrations Center, where Box customers discover and enable partner applications. A Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection will follow shortly after, enabling customers to connect Legora to their Box content through a standardized, future-proof bridge that respects the security and access controls they already rely on.

"Legal teams require trusted enterprise systems in order to apply AI to their most sensitive documents," said Gabriel Quek, Senior Director of Technology Partnerships at Legora. "For our mutual customers, Box is where enterprise content lives and is governed, and Legora is where the legal work gets done. By connecting the two, we let a lawyer select the documents that matter in Box and apply Legora's agentic AI to them directly. This is what enterprise-ready means: Legora connected to the key systems across our customers' technology stack so the work flows in one place."

“AI is reshaping how legal work gets done, and for enterprises, that transformation begins with trusted, governed content,” said Tara Daisy, Managing Director, Legal at Box. “Legal teams need AI that fits into the systems they already rely on rather than workflows that require moving sensitive information between applications. By partnering Box with Legora, we're giving customers a seamless way to bring enterprise content into AI-powered legal work while maintaining the security, governance, and compliance controls that Box is known for.”

Built for how enterprise legal teams work

Many of the world's largest and most regulated organizations rely on Box as the content layer for their work. By bringing Legora's agentic operating system to the documents customers already manage in Box, the integration is designed to let in-house teams and law firms move from content to legal outcome without leaving the environment their business already runs on.

The collaboration reflects Legora's commitment to serving in-house legal teams alongside law firms, by connecting to the technology stack they already use. Whichever side of the engagement a customer sits on, the integration is built to make the documents in Box immediately actionable inside Legora.

The Box integration adds to a growing ecosystem of connections that position Legora as the connected, agentic layer across the modern legal stack, alongside previously announced integrations and partnerships with platforms including Docusign, Ironclad, Datasite, Intralinks, Everlaw. The Legora - Box integration will be available to beta customers this quarter in 2026.
