New integration lets customers generate their most commonly-drafted contracts with Avvoka's automation directly inside Legora, with intelligent template selection and bulk drafting.
Legora, the agentic operating system for legal work, and Avvoka, the leading drafting infrastructure platform used by 25% of the AmLaw 100, today announced an integration that brings Avvoka's document automation directly into the Legora platform. The integration lets mutual customers produce their most commonly-drafted agreements without leaving Legora, through a guided questionnaire that generates first drafts from the organization's own approved templates.
Avvoka turns a firm's precedents and drafting standards into structured, reusable templates, capturing each organization's proprietary drafting style, enforcing consistency, and reducing manual error and speeding up the drafting process. Legora is the agentic operating system where legal work gets done, spanning research, review, drafting, due diligence, and end-to-end execution. Together, the two platforms give mutual customers a single, connected environment: Legora marshals the context that drives the deal detail, and documents are generated from Avvoka templates that leverage a firm’s embedded business logic and know-how.
Rather than asking lawyers to decide up front which engine to use, Legora makes that determination automatically. When a request matches a document type for which the customer has an Avvoka template, Legora prompts the user to complete an Avvoka-powered questionnaire inside Legora and generates the contract. When a request involves a document with no corresponding template or an instance where there’s no business logic in the relevant Avvoka template, Legora's agentic AI generates the first draft, drawing on the customer's institutional knowledge held across other systems and made accessible through Legora's extensive network of integrations.
Through the integration, mutual customers will be able to:
Turn the firm’s approved templates into first drafts, inside Legora: Generate first drafts of frequently used agreements such as fund formation documents, share purchase agreements, and loan facility agreements, by answering a structured Avvoka questionnaire, without starting from a blank page.
Select the right template for the matter: Choose from multiple Avvoka templates per agreement type, so teams that maintain a distinct template per contracting posture or per client can apply exactly the right starting point for each draft.
Get an intelligent template recommendation: Have Legora suggest the best-fit template based on the user's prompt, while retaining full control to select a different template manually. This ensures users find and apply the correct template, even when they maintain large template libraries.
Draft at volume in a single step: Use one Avvoka template to generate multiple contracts on Legora at once, eliminating the need to switch between platforms or repeatedly generate multiple near-identical agreements that differ only in details such as party names.
"Law firms and in-house legal teams already trust Avvoka to turn their questionnaire-based templates into reliable first drafts. By bringing that capability inside Legora, we let a lawyer draft the contracts they generate most often without leaving Legora where the rest of their work already happens," said Gabriel Quek, Senior Director of Technology Partnerships at Legora. "Legora finds and recommends the right template even when the customer has massive template libraries, generates first drafts, and layers bespoke edits on top of the generated drafts. For teams that use Avvoka today, adding Legora accelerates drafting while raising the quality of every draft produced."
"Our customers have invested in building drafting infrastructure in Avvoka that reflects exactly how they work,” said Giles Thompson, Chief Revenue Officer at Avvoka. “Bringing Avvoka's automation into Legora means that infrastructure now powers drafting inside an agentic platform that lawyers use across the entire client matter, extending the value of their templates without asking them to change how they draft."
"Clients expect quicker turnaround times on drafts without losing quality, while lawyers want reliable output they can start from. Fried Frank has codified its knowledge assets on Avvoka, while our lawyers spend more time with Legora than any other tool. The combination of these two tools will substantially improve the client and lawyer experience," said Conan Hines, Global Head of Innovation and Knowledge at Fried Frank.
The integration is the first since the launch of Curate, Avvoka’s flagship knowledge product for template creation that will be part of the Legora-Avvoka integration. This announcement reflects Legora's commitment to serving law firms and in-house legal teams by connecting to the technology they already rely on. Avvoka is the latest addition to a growing ecosystem of integrations that positions Legora as the connected, agentic operating system across the modern legal stack. The Legora–Avvoka integration will be available to beta customers by Q4 2026.

About Avvoka
Avvoka is a document automation platform for law firms and in-house legal teams. It turns the judgement in a firm's best work into templates that drive quality drafting at scale: Curate turns a firm's signed deals into one clean template a lawyer approves clause by clause; Automate scales it to thousands of bespoke documents, through to signature. Founded in 2016 by former Magic Circle lawyers Eliot Benzecrit and David Howorth, Avvoka works with almost a quarter of the Am Law 100, including A&O Shearman, Fenwick, Fried Frank and Ropes & Gray and with in-house teams including Warner Bros. Discovery. Almost entirely bootstrapped for its first decade, the company raised £14m in growth funding led by Valhalla Ventures in March 2026. Learn more at avvoka.com.
