The Legora Invitational – Terms and conditions

Last updated 24 June 2026

1. Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions (the Terms) govern participation in The Legora Invitational (the Competition), organised by Legora AB, a company incorporated in Sweden with its registered office in Stockholm (Legora).

1.2 By submitting an entry, participants (Entrants) agree to be bound by these Terms and any specific instructions published in the competition notice (the Competition Notice). In the event of conflict, the Competition Notice prevails.

1.3 Legora reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time by publishing updated Terms at www.legora.ai. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.

1.4 Entrants are responsible for ensuring their participation complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.

2. Eligibility

2.1 To be eligible, an Entrant must: (a) be a qualified, practising lawyer in their relevant jurisdiction; (b) be a current user of the Legora platform; and (c) be a golfer. Legora reserves the right to verify all eligibility requirements.

2.2 Employees of Legora AB and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2.3 Legora reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant who does not meet the eligibility requirements or who breaches these Terms.

3. Entry

3.1 Only one entry per person is permitted. Entries must be submitted in the manner and by the closing date set out in the Competition Notice. Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.

3.2 By submitting an entry, each Entrant warrants that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete.

3.3 Participation in the Competition is free of charge. Legora accepts no responsibility for entries lost or delayed due to technical failure or other causes outside its reasonable control.

4. Selection and Award

4.1 One winner will be selected based on two equally weighted criteria: (i) the quality and specificity of their written Legora case; and (ii) their demonstrated putting ability. The decision of Legora's judges is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

4.2 The award consists of participation in The Legora Invitational in New York City on 2 September 2026, including a round of golf alongside leading lawyers and Ludvig Åberg, and coverage by Legora of reasonable travel and accommodation costs. The award carries no salary, equity, or other employment benefits.

4.3 The award is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for a cash alternative. The winner is solely responsible for any taxes or duties arising from acceptance of the award.

4.4 Legora reserves the right to publicise the winner's name in connection with the Competition.

5. Intellectual Property and Content

5.1 Entrants retain ownership of their submitted content. By submitting an entry, each Entrant grants Legora a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the submitted content for the purposes of administering and promoting the Competition.

5.2 Each Entrant warrants that their submission does not infringe the rights of any third party and does not contain unlawful or objectionable material. Legora reserves the right to reject or remove any submission at its discretion.

6. Liability and Privacy

6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legora shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any Entrant in connection with the Competition or the award.

6.2 Entrants' personal data will be processed by Legora for the purposes of administering the Competition, in accordance with Legora's Privacy Policy (available at www.legora.ai) and applicable data protection law.

7. Governing Law

7.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish General Courts, with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.
