Global law firm Taylor Wessing has announced a partnership with Legora, the collaborative AI for lawyers, as part of its ongoing commitment to innovation and delivering outstanding client service.
Following a successful pilot involving more than 80 lawyers across multiple Taylor Wessing offices, Legora will be rolled out firmwide. The platform will be supported with training tailored to each practice area to ensure colleagues get the most out of the new technology.
Emma Danks, partner at Taylor Wessing, said:
“This partnership with Legora is a transformational step forward in how we use technology to enhance the way we work and the service we provide to our clients. After assisting Legora at the outset with their set-up in 2023, it is brilliant that we have begun to utilise the AI itself. It’s an exciting development that supports our broader strategy of combining legal expertise with the best tools available.”
Legora is designed to support day-to-day legal work, acting as a virtual assistant to help with tasks such as case analysis, document and table review, drafting support, and more. It integrates with key platforms to fit seamlessly into existing workflows.
Key features include:
Smarter document review – Automates analysis and categorisation to speed up preparation and reduce admin.
Due diligence and contract review – Enhancing the turnaround and quality of mass reviews.
Contract and case insights – Highlights key clauses and risk areas to support faster decision-making.
Drafting support – Offers suggestions to help improve clarity and efficiency in written work.
Proactive risk tools – Uses predictive analytics to help spot issues early and manage them effectively.
The rollout of Legora reflects Taylor Wessing’s wider investment in legal technology and is aligned with its client-first AI strategy, focused on delivering more bespoke, efficient and accurate legal advice by embedding the right tools where they add the most value.
The firm’s experience in this space is well-established. As one of Europe’s leading law firms for AI-related transactions (Pitchbook, Q1 2025), Taylor Wessing has advised on many of the market's standout deals including Rezolve Ai's establishment of up to $1billion Bitcoin Treasury Programme, Peak Ai's acquisition by UiPath, Rezolve AI’s NASDAQ listing and DeepL’s recent funding round.
As part of its long-term approach, Taylor Wessing is also investing in its people, with a firmwide programme to build AI knowledge and skills at all levels. More than 30 AI Champions are already in place within practice areas to support this, helping teams across the whole firm make the most of the technology in a practical, meaningful way.
This collaboration marks another step in Taylor Wessing’s ambition to lead the way in legal innovation—always with a focus on doing what’s best for its clients and people.
Legora’s Head of UK&I, Alex Fortescue-Webb, said:
“Our partnership with Taylor Wessing represents a shift in how we think about empowering lawyers and accelerating the adoption of AI within law firms. They are clear that AI is an integral part of the firm’s future, and a key lever in how they will continue to maintain and extend the exceptional service they provide to their clients. It’s an honour to be trusted as a key partner on this journey and to collaborate so closely with them to bring further enhancements to the Legora platform.”
