Following a successful pilot, leading international law firm McGuireWoods has signed an agreement to implement Legora as part of the firm’s broader digital transformation strategy. Lawyers across select litigation and transactional practices will utilise Legora’s AI platform to enhance the firm’s client service capabilities.

From pilot to rollout

Throughout the pilot, McGuireWoods lawyers tested the platform across a range of legal workflows and provided direct feedback. In alignment with Legora’s highly collaborative approach to adoption and integration, this input served to shape the firm’s rollout plan and ensure that Legora addresses real-world individual needs and use cases within the firm’s teams.

Continued collaboration and co-innovation

In an extension of this collaboration, the rollout will be guided by both the firm’s lawyers and Legora’s expert engineers – who together bridge law and technology – ensuring adoption is seamless, tailored, and widespread.

Moving forward, Legora and McGuireWoods will continue to work closely together to identify further opportunities to co-innovate the platform, refine how the firm’s lawyers can integrate Legora into existing workflows, and broaden areas where Legora can deliver fast, lasting impact.

Strategic applications and integration

This impact includes McGuireWoods lawyers benefitting from Legora’s market-leading agentic capabilities, such as the platform’s Workflows feature that allows lawyers to orchestrate complex, multi-step tasks with one natural language prompt.

Tom Trujillo, Chief Innovation and AI Officer at McGuireWoods, commented: “Partnering with companies like Legora to strategically integrate legal AI tools advances our commitment to responsible innovation and enhances our ability to deliver the highest level of service to our clients.”

Legora CEO Max Junestrand said: “Throughout its history, McGuireWoods has consistently been at the forefront of technological innovation within the legal sector. We are thrilled the firm selected Legora as an AI partner after a careful evaluation process.”
