Linklaters has announced the firmwide rollout of Legora’s collaborative generative AI platform, making it available to lawyers across all 30 of its offices worldwide.

The move marks the next phase of the firm’s generative AI programme, as Linklaters shifts from pilots to full implementation. With Legora embedded into daily workflows, lawyers will be able to accelerate document analysis, drafting, and knowledge work, while strengthening sharing and collaboration across practices and geographies.

This builds on Linklaters’ strong track record of legal innovation. The firm has already deployed its in-house chatbot Laila - used more than 200,000 times each month - alongside platforms such as ReportiQ, its online due diligence tool, and CreateiQ 2.0, its contract lifecycle platform. The addition of Legora strengthens this ecosystem, ensuring lawyers can work more confidentially, more consistently, and with greater strategic focus.

Paul Lewis, Firmwide Managing Partner at Linklaters, said:

“Legora represents a significant step in cementing our innovation strategy, unlocking the next phase in the firm’s growth, as we move from individual experimentation to fundamental business transformation. Generative AI is a powerful enabler of our firm’s success, allowing our lawyers to focus on the complex, high-stakes work that sets us apart.”

The rollout follows an extensive pilot in which lawyers tested Legora alongside Linklaters’ in-house tools. Adoption proved strong, with the platform enhancing collaboration across teams.

Tom Quoroll, Co-chair of Linklaters’ GenAI programme, commented:

“We’re excited to give our lawyers access to Legora and build on the successes we’ve achieved with our in-house tool Laila. Our extensive pilot has shown that using Legora in tandem with our broader suite of cutting-edge legal tech tools creates a fantastic combination, which will further deepen our culture of cross-practice collaboration and innovation. That’s why this firmwide roll-out has such great potential for us to find new ways of delivering value for clients.”

For Legora, the rollout reflects a shared commitment to reshaping how top firms work with AI. Max Junestrand, CEO of Legora, said:

“We’re proud to play a central role in Linklaters’ generative AI programme and driving immediate impact. We look forward to collaborating closely with their global team of elite lawyers to ensure deep adoption from day one – supporting them in delivering real value and better outcomes for their clients.”

The firmwide adoption of Legora by Linklaters is more than a technology rollout. It represents a defining step in how global law firms are moving from experimentation to a new model of legal delivery, where AI is embedded at scale to support collaboration, efficiency, and the highest quality of work.
