This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to all administrators and end users (“You”, “Your”) authorised to access the services provided by Legora (the “Services”), each of whom is individually bound by this as a condition of their access.
You acknowledge that:
Output generated by the Services is produced using AI tools. Given the probabilistic nature of AI and machine learning, output may not accurately reflect real people, places, or facts and must be subject to human review and verification before use. Output generated through the Services may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. You should not rely on any output without independent verification and the exercise of Your own professional judgement.
Outputs generated through the Services do not constitute legal advice. Legora is not a law firm, does not practise law, and does not provide legal advice by way of the Services.
You are responsible for:
Keeping Your access credentials related to the Services secure and confidential and to not disclose such credentials to any unauthorised person.
Notifying Legora promptly via email to legal@legora.com if You suspect or become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of the Services or any compromise of access credentials.
You agree not to, and not direct or allow administrators, end users, or third parties to:
Use the Services in a way that infringes, misappropriates or violates any person’s rights, including the privacy, legal rights, or intellectual property rights of any person.
Input any third-party content and/or data into the Services without having obtained the necessary rights to use such content and/or data.
Sub-license, sell, or otherwise transfer Your right to access or use the Services to any third party or share accounts.
Attempt to reverse engineer or derive the source code of the Services or any portion thereof, except as permitted by applicable law.
Modify, customise, port, translate, localise or create derivative works of the Services.
Use any automated or programmatic method to extract data or output from the Services, other than such methods provided by Legora in the Services, including but not limited to scraping, web harvesting, or web data extraction.
Use Your access to the Services to build a product or service which competes with the Services.
Use the Services in a manner that interferes or attempts to interfere with the proper working of the Services, including but not limited to introducing or permitting the introduction of any virus or malware into Legora’s network and information systems.
Use output for decision-making that affects individuals without meaningful human oversight and review, including for any high-risk applications as defined under the EU AI Act (such as law enforcement activities or administration of justice).
Provide to the Services any personally identifiable genetic or biometric data or any payment card data, including but not limited to credit or debit card numbers, cardholder names, expiration dates, or security codes.
